Federal prosecutors have charged a former Transportation Security Administration employee with attempting to sabotage terror watch list computers and by attempting to introduce a virus into the computer system, according to news sources.

Tax protesters gather at courthouse

Gregg County resident Jerry Brown waited until Saturday before attending his first Taxed Enough Already, or TEA party. He wanted to make sure the movement had staying power. But the 55-year-old industrial worker said he has had enough of government overspending, so he came to the Gregg County Courthouse south lawn like more than 100 other residents to show their support for reforms. “I’m afraid our American principles are going down the tubes,” Brown said.

Kentucky Census Worker Committed Suicide, Investigators Say

FRANKFORT, Ky. — A Kentucky census worker found naked, bound with duct tape and hanging from a tree with “fed” scrawled on his chest killed himself but staged his death to make it look like a homicide, authorities said Tuesday.

Bill Sparkman, 51, was found Sept. 12 near a cemetery in a heavily wooded area of southeastern Kentucky. A man who found the body in the Daniel Boone National Forest has said Sparkman also was gagged and had an identification badge taped to his neck.
