Abel Moreno could face deportation after he called 911 to report a crime. He was snagged by a provision that deputizes local authorities to enforce federal immigration law. It’s called Section 287(g), and it means local police can enforce federal immigration laws. That’s why an illegal immigrant from Mexico faces deportation after he did the right thing and called 911 to report a dirty cop.

The Constellation Program's Ares I-X test rocket roars off Launch Pad 39B at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Oct. 28. At right is space shuttle Atlantis. A mobile launcher has been built for the Ares 1. The problem is, if the Obama administration has its way, there never will be such a rocket.
