theGrio: USDA official’s punishment doesn’t fit crime

The USDA official fired over her comments to the NAACP about an incident 24 years ago made clear that this was an epiphany on how bigotry can corrupt and damn anyone. Somehow conservatives didn’t  hear that part.

North Korea seeks harsher punishment for jailed U.S. man

North Korea rejected U.S. calls on Thursday for the release of an American sentenced to eight years of hard labor, saying it was considering how to make the punishment even harsher under rules of war.
