PlayStation Plus Not Required For Hulu Plus Past Preview Period

We reported last week that hidden language on the Hulu website claimed that to use the service as a PS3 owner would require a Playstation Plus subscription. Well, consumer website Joystiq has discovered that a PlayStation Plus subscription is only a requirement during the preview period.

A representative for Hulu stated, “With the launch of Hulu Plus there have been many rumors started and we are trying our best to remedy the situation,” responding to Joystiq’s question, “the Playstation Plus service is only a requirement during the preview period … once the preview period ends you should be able to download the Hulu Plus app but that will still require the Hulu Plus subscription.”
